Our Story
Denton Zine & Art Party
We started in 2017 to celebrate zines, micro-publishers, DIY culture, and our creative community! The idea was to host a Denton zine fest and bring us together to celebrate the spectrum of DIY artists, musicians, and creatives in North Texas and beyond.
Denton Zine & Art Party (DZAP) is now an annual multi-event, multi-media celebration of all things DIY zines, art, & music in North Texas. We host our Zine Fest, manage our Zine Library, and put on gallery shows, creative gatherings, workshops, and pop-up zine events with various local partners in order to spark the community interest in zines and DIY culture.
